General Meetings
Your monthly General Membership Meeting is a stimulating
short seminar on exciting new developments in the Computer Field.
The CPCUG Meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of each month at the AFL-CIO Hall 2980
Glendale Milford at Reading Road, Evendale, OH 45241
Meetings start at 7:00 PM and run to 9:00 PM normally. Software and Hardware presentations
are offered. Vendors give you an insight and preview of new Computer technology.
If you are new to Computers, you may be overwhelmed by the amount of general information
you will be exposed to in a year. Don't worry, other special interest groups (SIGs) meet to zero in on subjects such as: Internet, Novice
Windows, Word Perfect, Hardware, and many other subjects that will interest you
specifically.
A "treat" follows the meeting. You get a (hopefully lucky) ticket number when
you enter the Auditorium. Prizes like valuable software, T-Shirts, Hats, and many other
promotional items go to the lucky winners whose numbers are called at the end of the
meeting.
Examples of previous seminars are: Microsoft Office 2000, Time Warner's Road Runner
Internet approach, MS Windows 2000, In Touch Web Wireless Phone and too many other
subjects to list here. For a list of previous presenters click here.
Directions to the AFL-CIO Hall can be found on the inside
back cover of Cincinnati Download, our monthly news bulletin, or here
on our website.
For information about our next month's meeting, click here,
or call 513-333-6777. When calling the phone number, you can order a free membership
information brochure.
Although the meetings are a benefit of paid membership, first time visitors are
always welcome. (You get a chance to win prizes too if you have the lucky number).
Membership in our not for profit organization is only $35.00 per year for you and
your family.
You will enjoy the benefits of belonging to an organization where PC Users help
other PC Users.
